Vivi Papageorgiou

Vivi Papageorgiou was born in Larisa, Greece, now lives in Athens. She has studied English Literature in Aristotle University and Interior Design in Dimitrelis School of arts, Thessaloniki. Also has a master (DEA) in Cinéma & Audiovisual, University Nouvelle Sorbonne  Paris III, France and a degree in Film & TV Directing, Lykourgos Stavrakos School of Cinema & Television studies, Athens.
She has attended several seminars about arts & cinema and worked for some time as a decorator. Also has worked as an assistant producer & director in some films & theatrical plays and has taken part in several arts & music projects.
She has managed to create her 1st short feature film in 2003, as a producer / director which was presented in several festivals in Greece and elsewhere. Among which, won an award for Costumes in Athens International Film Festival “Premiere Nights” and was among the 5 finalists in the 1st Mediterranean short film festival, AgrigentoCorto,  Sicily, Italy.
For the moment, she is preparing her PhD in cinema studies in Athens University, Faculty of Communication & Media Studies.
